Go east again to enter the Barrow Downs.Make sure you pick up the Elvish Book on the west side of the area.

Show the letter to Tom Bombadil outside of his home to the north and he will free your friends when you return to Old Man Willow. If you read the letter near the east side of this area, your friends will be eaten by Old Man Willow.
Return south and then go east twice more. Continue east and then north and speak to Sorianrand. In the southeast corner of the next area to the east, you will find the first Lost Amulet that the elves asked you to find. Speak to the elves to the south for some valuable information. He will give you a Note from Gandalf and will join your party. Continue east and you will meet Merry Brandybuck. He will give you the Purple Gateway Gem if you found the first two in the Shire. In the next area east of the ferry, you will find Gildor Inglorion on the east side of the area. Show Farmor Maggot's note to the ferryman to the south and give him the Boat Oar and he will take you across the river. Give it to Farmer Maggot and he will give you his Boat Oar. Go to the area to the east and you will find the Jar of Honey. Give it to Ted Sandyman and he will tell you that he dropped the Honey just outside of Farmer Maggot's farm. You can find a Bottle of Shire Juice on the east side of the area to the north. He will only give you the Jar of Honey if you bring his a bottle of Shire Juice. Return to the west and speak to Ted Sandyman who is in the long narrow area. Farmer Maggot will tell you that you will still need an oar to get across and will promise to lend you his if you get his Jar of Honey back from Ted Sandyman. Defeat the goblins that are attacking his farm and he will give you a note to give to the ferryman so that he will take you across the river. Go south and then east and you will find Farmor Maggot. Shadow wraiths will attack you on the other side and there is no way to defeat them. Use the Gate Key on the gate on the east side of Hobbiton to open it. 
When he sees that you have the glasses, he will join you. Give him the Magic Fern for the Violet Gateway Gem.
In one of the small caves, you will find an old man. Look at the map for their exact locations. In the large cave, find the Glasses, the Green Gateway Gem, and the Magic Fern. This area has three small caves and one large cave with four entrances. Return to Hobbiton and then leave through the west exit. He will join you after you have killed the wolves. You will find Pippin Took in the northeast corner of this area. Leave the town through the north exit. Speak to Samwise Gamgee in the northeast corner of the town and he will tell you that he cannot join you until he finds his gaffer's glasses. 
Special Palantir seeing stones let gamers jump back and forth between storylines, and as always, multiplayer fans can drop in or out of the action any time they please.
Players can collect Mithril to forge new items in the Blacksmith Shop, and characters gain new weapons and attacks as the advance through the journey. There are more than 80 different characters to unlock, including the massive spider Shelob, the frightening Balrog, and the tortured hobbit Gollum, and the game includes dozens of lines of dialogue taken directly from the films. As always, gamers spend much of the adventure switching between characters, dismantling foes, and destroying the environments to earn LEGO studs. All of Middle-earth has been re-created, even portions not seen in the films, but players follow the general progression of the story, travelling from The Shire all the way to the heart of Mordor. Tolkien's epic trilogy (albeit with small plastic blocks and vintage Traveller's Tales humor) as they join Frodo, Aragorn, and the rest of the Fellowship in LEGO The Lord of the Rings. Gamers can relive Peter Jackson's version of J.R.R.
